Inspiration from Miss Hayashi

Natsumi Hayashi from tokyo is one of the most renowned photographers in the field of levitation photography (Not using photoshop). Using clever framing and deceivingly talented models she creates some amazing & surreal images without the use of digital editing. As opposed to edited images these have a fantastically real feel to them Am amazing thing about these images is that most of them are self portraits done using a self timer. The careful framing in this photo creates the amazing effect that Natsumi is actually flying In an interview Natsumi talked about how she produces the posses shown in these photos “I must be aware of the shapes of my arms and legs and make slight adjustments in every jump,”. On average she will take 300 frames in one shoot and only upload one as her final image.   Natsumi Hayashi - “When I am free of the gravity inside the picture, I feel free of any obligation to the society and live without being bound to many things.”
