Brainstorming for time project

So the proposal for my next project "Time" is due in two days. The scope for this project is quite wide, which is good but also means its taking me longer to come up with an idea. In my last project "Space" i chose McDonalds and kind of missed the point of the project by focusing on the people to much. Hopefully i still pass. Ok so ideas for the time project. I think some long exposures of the
inter-islander arriving into the port would look great.

Long Exposure of boat moving past
Starting with a really zoomed out shot and then moving in, eventually focusing on the cars exiting the ferry and if possible some people leaving it as well. Sort of documenting the journey to a new island. Issues with this could be my lack of zoom lense, it could also be challenging to get a good view point of the ship coming in.

My next idea is time-lapse video of a campervan road trip i am about to go on with my family. This idea first came to me because a large part of the time we have for this project is in the holidays but now developing this idea i think it could be a really nice effect to portray the journey and give a changed sense of time

Here are some examples of road-trip time lapses

Obviously both these videos are very well executed using a stationary camera and well timed photos. Id like to use aspects from both of these videos but include more freestyle sections of my family, places we visit outside of the campervan, just see what happens. The problem with this is creating continuity throughout the photos to make a video that actually goes together

We shall see
