Proposal
Time
Through this project i want to show the great history and stories that people carry with them. The transition from a first impression of someone based purely on looks to an understanding if very slight of the journey this person has taken to get to this current point in time. I want to learn a bit more about my subjects. I have chosen four of my family members for accessibility and comfort to work with. This will be my first time making a stop motion film so it will be interesting learning the skills required to do this.
Using a short stop motion movie with portraiture emphasis i will start from a zoomed in perspective. Focussing on the face and then slowly moving out to have the subject from the waist up in the bottom middle of the frame with a large open area around them. Behind them on the wall i will have written or drawn cards that tell interesting stories from this persons past.
